Can I text or email you to get updates on my pets?

Of course! I am more than happy to provide you with updates about your pet! I understand that as a pet parent you are concerned about your pets. I will respond as quickly as I can about your pets. Feel free to message me day or night if at any time you feel the need to check in on your pet.

Can you do every other day cat visits?

Yes I can do that. However I do advise against it. I feel that to ensure your cats are healthy and well taken care of that they should have at least 1 visit each day and to make sure there are no security problems or theft, I recommend that you schedule at least 1 visits per day.

Can you spend extra time with my pets?

YES! I do charge a fee for each additional 15 minutes.

Do I always have to give you 2 keys?

No, I do request that you provide 2 keys for me to keep for future services. However if you wish that I don’t keep your keys I have other options available that can be discussed.

Do I need to contact you when I return home?

We don’t require you to contact us, however as a courtesy we ask that you do. This way we know that your pets are being taken care of. No need to make a phone call, you can send a quick email or text just to let us know that everything is okay.

Do you always visit at the time we ask for?

Yes. However during scheduling please allow a 1 hour window in which I will make my visits.

Do you charge a holiday fee?

Yes. There will be a $30 fee in addition to original service rates on the following holidays: Easter, Martin Luther King Day, Mother’s Day, Memorial Day, Father’s Day, Labor Day, 4th Of July, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day

Do you do any household chores during your visits

Yes I do! I will bring in your mail/ newspaper/ packages inside. I can also water your plants and bring garbage bins to the curb and back. If requested I can also alternate lights, blinds, TV/radio, etc..

Do you have a list of references I can contact?

Our clients live very busy lives and we prefer people don’t disturb them. Because we don’t let you contact them personally we always encourage our clients to write testimonials on our website so that you can read all about their experiences!

We 100% GUARANTEE that all of our testimonials and reviews are from current and previous clients. We DO NOT have any fake reviews or testimonials and DO NOT hire marketing companies to write reviews like other businesses. We believe in letting people see what others have to say about the services we have provided for them and their pets including their experiences, good and bad.

Do you have paperwork that I need to fill out before you provide services?

Yes I do. I have a contract/ paperwork that you will need to fill out before any services can begin. This will provide me with the necessary information for providing quality care for your pets.

Do you post pictures of my pet anywhere?

With your permission, yes! We mostly post pictures on Facebook and Instagram.

Do you provide a discount if I book services weekly or monthly?

Unfortunately we do not provide any type of discount for services that are booked weekly. We have our rates set at a reasonable rate for both weekly and as-needed services.

In the case that you book a month at a time (including payment for the month) you will get a 10% discount off your service total (before any fees are applied).

Do you provide Overnight Pet Sitting in my home?

Unfortunately, no.

Because my services are available 24/7 I have several clients that work nights and reserve my services in the middle of the night (12am, 3am, 5am, etc.). So due to that I am unable to provide Overnight Stays at this time and only provide Pet Sitting visits.

I don’t drive, do you provide pick up and drop off?

YES. Depending on your location I provide FREE pick up and drop off for all services. Other locations there may be an additional fee.

I live in a secure building, how is that handled?

Because I have a schedule that I need to keep I don’t have time to call your building and wait for them to let me in. In the case that you live in a secure building you will need to provide me with a key fob and if needed your elevator code.

I referred someone to you, do I get any kind of discount?

YES! I you refer someone to me and they schedule services, you will get $20 off any service (excludes pet taxi).

I work for a company that has a ton of pet owners. Do you ever work with businesses and offer company discounts or packages?

We DO! We most definitely offer company discounts and specials! Feel free to refer The Alpha Mama to the company you are employed by and we would be more than happy to speak to them about working together!

Is there a minimum or maximum amount of visits that you will provide per day?

No. I will provide as many visits as you need me to.

May I give you a gratuity?

Absolutely! Any tips are greatly appreciated! I accept cash or you can also add a gratuity to your invoice at time of payment.

My dog has bitten a person in the past, will you still care for him?

Yes, we do everything we can to get to know your dog and make them comfortable with us before they are left in our care. Although we specialize in aggressive and anxious dogs, there are some circumstances where we cannot guarantee that we can take care of your dog.

My dog is aggressive to other dogs, is this ok?

YES! We specialize in dogs with aggression and take all the precautions necessary to ensure the safety of your pet and others.

What cities do you provide services in?

We provide services in all cities, depending on your location there may be a travel fee added to your invoice.

Most common cities we provide services in are:
Bothell, Mill Creek, Woodinville, Mukilteo, Lynnwood, Edmonds, Snohomish, Lake Stevens, Monroe Duvall, Juanita, Kirkland, Redmond, Sammamish, Issaquah.

What happens if you become ill or have an emergency?

In the event of a personal emergency or illness I will arrange for another trusted qualified person to fulfill responsibilities. I will be in contact with them during each visit to ensure your pets are being well cared for and needs are being met!

What hours do you provide services?

24/7! This means all services are available day or night!

What if I need last minute care for my pet?

For any services scheduled 2 days or less prior to first day of scheduled service there will be a $15 last minute fee for Dog Walking/Potty Breaksand a $20 last minute fee for all other services. (Excludes Boarding).

Boarding: If boarding is scheduled less than 5 days prior to first day of service there will be a $50 last minute fee.

What if my dog has aggression or is fearful of strangers?

Not a problem, I specialize in this type of behavior and take all the necessary precautions while caring for your dog.

What if my dog isn’t neutered/ spayed?

I DO accept unaltered pets.

What if my dog needs to be let out in the middle of the night? Will you provide a visit or are they left to have an accident at home?

I provide visits 24/7. I do my best to provide services whenever they are needed, even at 3am!

What if my friend, family or neighbor is caring for my pet? Can you visits on the days and times when they are unavailable?

Unfortunately I will not accept shared jobs where another person or sitter does some visits and I do others. The health and welfare of your pet is our biggest priority. I have found in past circumstances that accountability plays a large role in providing your pet with the best care, and will not share responsibility with another person.

What if my pet gets sick or injured in your care?

In the event that your pet becomes ill or injured I make every effort to assess the problem and contact you immediately before any further action is taken. Depending on the situation I will immediately transport your pet to your vet or another vet. I take great pride in making sure your pet is well taken care of and keeping you up to date on any issues.

What if my pet has an accident in between your visits? Do you clean it up?

Yes, we will clean up after your pets to the best of our ability. In the case of your pet having an accident on rugs or carpet, please give me details on how you would like me to handle the cleaning situation. If your pet is having daily accidents, I will recommend that you add an extra visit to the schedule. During each visit I will walk through your home to check for any accidents.

What if my pet is on daily medications or supplements?

That’s not a problem, as long as you write in the paperwork that your pet is on medication and what it is for I will give any medication that is provided.

What if we are having extreme weather conditions when you come?

Services are available throughout the year even during Winter! Some days walks may be shortened due to weather conditions such as (heat, rain, cold, snow etc.). Please understand that extreme temperatures can be too HOT (heatstroke is a huge concern in this case) or too COLD for your pets’ paws and can cause serious damage to their pads also causing pain. In the event of this, we will stay and play with your dog at your home for the remaining time. If you prefer, we can also just drop your dog off at your home and call it a day. Totally up to you!

What is the earliest and the latest you can visit?

I can provide visits anytime day or night!

What is your cancellation policy? Will I receive a refund?

You are free to cancel at any time. I ask that you provide as much notice possible.

No. Please understand that I have set aside time for you and may have turned other clients or potential clients down to allow time for your pets. All payments, fees and deposits are non-refundable. Thank you for your understanding.

What kind of animals do you care for?

I take care of almost all pets. I care for dogs, cats, horses, birds, bearded dragons, geckos, hedgehogs, rats, fish, snakes, chickens, goats, alpacas, sheep. The list go on and on!

What special steps do you take with a shy cat that hides all the time?

I understand that not all cats are cuddly affectionate kitties. Some cats will only allow you to pet them on their terms and I respect that. I also know some cats have anxiety or are just fearful of strangers and will hide during our visits. I make every effort not to desterb them if they are hiding but during each visit I will locate them to make sure they are still inside and in good health. I am very respectful of your cats space.

When is payment due?

You will receive an invoice for each payment via email or text. Full payment will need to be made at time of booking. You will not be added to my schedule and services will not begin until full payment is made.

Will you take care of my pets without meeting them beforehand?

Yes, I have plenty of clients that didn’t have time to schedule a meet and just started services right away.
